Mount Rushmore

After driving the wildlife loop, we headed north to Mount Rushmore, it was a beautiful drive through the mountians. As we got closer, we rounded a curve, had to honk our horn to pass through a one lane tunnel. Just as we came out the other side, WOW!! there was Mount Rushmore, through the trees, off in the distance, really a cool sight, that we were not expecting.
Once we got there, we seen these guys hanging over the heads doing something to the faces. We happened to have a Tour Guide take our picture and he told us we were there at a unique time, that these people from England had volunteers to CLEAN the faces ( first time ever, since it opened in 1941 ).
