Banana tree & deer

Jan an I was out visiting the neighbors and found a deer sitting under a banana tree, pretty cool, huh ? They told us they didn't want the bananas and to watch them as they get ripe and pick them ( let you know how that turns out ). The weather continues to be sunny and nice, feels good to be home.

Boating Day, Tuesday the 17th

Tuesday Jan & I took the day off and went boating, it was about 88 degrees and the water temperature was 81 degrees. We stopped at one of the Islands and looked for Sand Dollars, didn't find any, then cruised up to Naples ( on the way we encountered dolphin's, at first we were going real slow and they followed us for a couple of miles ) and had lunch at Joe's Crab Shack. After lunch we went out into the gulf, down to Naples Pier ( not a lot of people down here yet ), then slowly followed the shoreline back to Gordon's Pass, then took the inter-coastal back to Marco Island. All in all it was a beautiful day on the water.

Allen Household, East Grand Rapids

We finally ( after being in Michigan all summer ) made it over to East Grand rapids to see our Nephew Darrell Allen and his family, Jeanna his wife, Avery & Will. Jan made up a mess of homemade tacos and we celebrated Avery's 3rd Birthday a little early ( BD, Oct 14th ), therefore we played a lot of Hungary Hippo. Darrell & Jeanna showed us all around East Grand Rapids and we had a great visit.
